Trophy time: Sue Lindsay, Lesley Bennett, Lynne Stephens and Caroline Mackendrick are looking chuffed – and well they might. The Wessex Water staff are celebrating the fact that at the recent Social Policy Oscars run by Citizens Advice, the water company won the award for being best creditor of the year. Wessex won thanks to its schemes to help customers resolve their arrears problems, and also for giving £225,000 to agencies in the region so they could recruit and train extra volunteers and debt co-ordinators.
