Body heat with a difference

Good to see that our recycled energy minister has been honest enough to admit that the government which he serves has not been as on the ball about heat as it should have been. The country is only now feeling its way to a proper all-singing, all-dancing policy on the subject.

No doubt Wicks, if he is still in the post, will be invited to the Dukinfield crematorium in Tameside near Manchester where mourners have been complaining about the cold. The council has decided to make use of the heat from cremating bodies to keep the facility warmer.
As a local churchman said: “As a final act of generosity, it’s a lovely way for the dead to provide comfort for the living at a difficult time.”
Quite.
