Is anybody there?

And now another mystery. Workers at Southern Water’s Eastbourne wastewater treatment plant on Prince William Parade have reported “hushed voices whispering in empty corridors, shadowy figures and orbs or balls of electromagnetic energy” at the plant.


Well, that’s what the local paper has been told by treatment worker Mark Wey, who called in self-styled spirit expert and parapsychologist Mike Kingscote. The latter claims to have photographic and audio evidence to prove ghostly visitations.
That’s as maybe. Personally, Disconnector thinks Ofwat or the Environment Agency are deploying staff in a novel way to ensure the water company’s operations are up to scratch. There are,
after all, visitations and, erm,
visitations…
