Van spotting:

Disco%20van.jpg

Northumbrian Water has just run a competition to get the message across that its tap water is “thirst class”. The company’s new fleet of 55 vans can be spotted from Berwick down to North Yorkshire and across the Pennines. Observant customers who “clocked” the vans, rebranded as part of a drive to highlight the quality of the region’s tap water, and sent a photo of said vehicle to the water company, stood the chance of having their domestic water and sewerage bill paid for a year (up to the value of £400), and a prize of an energy efficient electrical appliance of their choice. The draw is due to take pace this week. Sorted.
