I don't believe it!

Maybe it’s the way you tell ‘em. Recently, telecoms regulator Ofcom suggested that the next generation of super-fast broadband cables could use the sewer network. The Daily Telegraph plainly got a bit confused about that, failing to clock that BT has already co-operated with Thames Water in such a fashion.

No, last month the Daily Telegraph ran a top 10 “hoaxes that made us howl”, which listed such classics as the spaghetti growing on trees and Google’s plans to launch an HQ on the moon. “Another of Google’s brightest ideas is its sewer-ducted broadband,” chortled the paper.
Oops. Google is deadly
serious.
