Symbolic gesture:

Disco festival.jpgYup, your eyes are not deceiving you. That is a giant tap, one of the features of last weekend's Children's Parade, part of the south coast's Brighton Festival. The theme of this year's parade was games, and one Brighton school chose Monopoly, hence the fantastic faucet. All very apt as the event was sponsored by Southern Water as a goodwill gesture to the city whose inhabitants have shown patience beyond the call of duty as the water company dug up parts of the city centre to replace Victorian water mains.
