The name game

Rebranding, don't you just love it? Disconnector was intrigued to learn that The Nuclear Academy, billed as "Cumbria's £20 million iconic project to build a world-class centre for skills, training and business support" is changing its name. The scheme isn't physically built yet (though it is under construction), but is now to be called, er, Energus. With a name like that there should be no danger of anyone confusing it with the National Skills Academy for Nuclear, as was the case before. Clear now? Certainly, government ministers and the chief executive of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority routinely used to get the two organisations/schemes mixed up.
