Southern Water's mascot Mr Save-It last week urged customers to prove their love for the environment by swapping their baths for showers, which use much less water. The water company launched its campaign at a time when couples traditionally shower each other with gifts in a bid to encourage greater awareness of the need to conserve water (though Disconnector notes there was no risque message about shared showering to reduce water use further...).
