Artwork and Film Formats
Files can be accepted in the following formats:-
Apple Mac - QuarkPress/ Pagemaker/ Freehand/ Illustrator/ Photoshop/ Hi Res PDF's*
PC - QuarkPress/ Pagemaker/ Photoshop/ Coreldraw
*NOTE: Hi Res PDF's - All high resolution PDF's must be supplied as follows:
- All fonts must be embedded
- Make all graphics CMYK
- All spot colours should be set to 2540
- Resolution should be set to 2540
- Allow at least 3mm bleed around pages
- Pages must be centred on the PDF and include trim marks
- Must be saved as a complete file not colour separated
- Double page spreads must be supplied as separate pages
Graphics
It is important that all colours graphics are supplied as CMYK, not RGB.
Files can be saved as TIF/ EPS /JPEG format NOT JPEG Encoded as these will print mono.

Artwork Delivery
Artwork should be supplied in digital format to us either by:-
- RBI Check-n-Send - is our preferred route, please read below.
- Disk - sent to the address below.
- ISDN - please phone 01702 461777 and speak to Steve Danies or Malcolm Treglohan for a new cost effective way to using your ISDN. Please name the file: UWEE.yourcompanynam.issuedate
- Email - to be sent to utilityweek@jjays.com
RBI Check-n-Send
This is the latest and extremely efficient way of transmitting advertisement material. It does away with making film, writing CDs and eliminates the cost of using a courier. It saves you the trouble of downloading to an FTP site, using ISDN or sending by email with an attachment.
This system, which is on our website at www.rbiadcopy.com will check your advertisement and will notify you of anything that is wrong. And instructs you on what must be corrected prior to it being sent to us at J.Jays.
Once you have dragged-and-dropped your file onto the "RBI Check-n-Send" icon (which sits ion your desktop) it will take you through a number of screen displays, the final one being a job ticket for copy instructions details 9which must be completed)

Cancellation period is 8 weeks prior to publication. Cancellation within this period is subject to full charge.
