UK ranks high with cleantech investors Cleantech investors see the UK as the third most attractive country in which to invest - after the USA and China. Law firm Norton Rose surveyed over 200 investors from across the globe and also found that almost half viewed cleantech investments with greater caution than any other venture capital or private equity investments due to the combination of lack of regulatory certainty and the danger of shifting government agenda and market focus. Norton Rose said respondents wanted a "binding global legislative framework" to assist the sector's growth.
