Combined heat and power awards return![]() Following a break of some seven years the Combined Heat and Power Association (CHPA) is re-introducing the UK CHP Awards at its annual conference on 19 November 2008. Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform John Hutton will be the keynote political speaker at the conference. The conference plenary and breakout seminar sessions have attracted some leading industry experts, while the policy panel session will be chaired by BBC environment correspondent Roger Harrabin. Graham Meeks, director of the CHPA, said: "The CHPA annual conference, dinner and awards will showcase the ways in which CHP can grow markets and cut carbon. Our well-regarded national and international speakers will be highlighting effective policies to deliver investment and identifying the potential of a range of emerging technologies."
