Wessex Water applies to enter Scottish market![]() Wessex Water has applied to Scottish regulator Wics for a licence to supply water and sewerage services in Scotland. The licence would allow the commercial arm of the company, Wessex Water Enterprises, the compete to supply water and waste water retail services to any business in Scotland, with Scottish Water acting as the wholesale supplier and network operator. The current retail licensees Business Stream, Ondeo, Osprey, Satec and most recently Aimera.
