Time to compose yourself over climate change

The Association of Electricity Producers (AEP) is running a competition inviting members of the industry and energy students to write a short poem, limerick, piece of prose or haiku. The only rules are that the piece must be about climate change and no longer than 100 words. There is a prize of £1,000, which will be donated to a charitable organisation of the author's choice. As well, three student entrants will receive a £100 bursary and the opportunity to undertake a week's work experience within the power industry. The finalists will be announced at the AEP's annual lunch later this year when the winning entries will be recited. Please email rhunter@aepuk.com with your entry. The deadline is Monday 12 October.
